Replace Project Item Revisions

Explanation

Use this activity to replace all occurrences of a specific part revision in the project product structure. If the new revision does not already exist in the delivery structure, the part revision is automatically created as a new Project Part Definition.
The document survey and document requirements will be copied from the previous revision, if it exists. Otherwise, the document requirements will be copied from the new Profile defined in PDM Configuration.

Procedure

  1. Select the part definition part with the old revision that you want to replace.
  2. Select Replace Project Item Revision option from the right mouse button menu.
  3. In the dialog box that appears, enter the revision or use the List button to choose a revision, and click OK.
