Simulate Scheduling Events
Explanation
This activity is used to simulate different events for which the impact needs
to be investigated. Some examples are:
- What would happen to the schedule if resources are added?
- What happens if a work package is moved in time? Can it still be
delivered on time, if not, when can it?
- Can new work be brought in, and if so, when is it probable that it can
be delivered?
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, scheduled operations must exist in the Scheduling
Server.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a better understanding of the impact of
different decisions can be visualized.
