Change Status to Investment

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status from Registered or Planned to Investment for a fixed asset.

Prerequisites

Before changing the status, the following must have been completed:

• The object must have been entered with the status Registered or Planned in IFS/Fixed Assets.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you can enter one or several supplier invoices for the object in IFS/Invoice. Alternatively, enter a manual voucher with posting for the object in IFS/Accounting Rules, a direct cash transaction with a posting for the object in IFS/Cash Book or complete a project with a reposting rule which includes a code part value for the object.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to change the status to Investment for the fixed assets:

1. Open Objects and find information on the object.
2. Select the objects of which you want to change the status to Investment, right-click and click Investment. Object status then becomes Investment.
3. Alternatively, you can also change the status for one object at a time in the Object window.
