Calculate Cumulative Lead Time

Explanation

Use this activity to calculate a part’s cumulative lead time. The cumulative lead time of a part is the total turnaround time for all parts in the structure. You can calculate the cumulative lead time for a single part, or all parts for the specified site.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• A part must have been defined with a routing. 

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The system calculates the cumulative lead time for a part or parts on a site,
• The system updates the cumulative lead time field in the inventory part records.

Procedure

1. In the Site field, select the site for which you want to run the calculation. Click List button to select from available sites.
2. If you want to calculate the cumulative lead time for a specific part, select the part in the Part No field. Click List to select from available parts. If no part is selected, the calculation is done for all parts at the site.
3. Click OK.
