Remove Post Maintenance Task for Modification

Explanation

This activity is used to remove pending PMC (post maintenance check) tasks for a modification.

Prerequisites

The modification must have been created and post maintenance checks set up for it. For more information, refer to the activity Define Post Maintenance Checks on Modification.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the PMC task is removed along with the record indicating that a post maintenance check is required for the serial.

Procedure

1. Open the Modification Details window and query (F3) for the necessary modification.
2. Click the Post Maint tab.
3. Select the row containing the PMC task you want removed, right-click and then click Delete PMC Task. A message appears.
4. Click Yes to remove the selected PMC task.

Note: This procedure may be performed using the Post Maintenance Checks window as well.
