Specify Priority Rule on Shop Order

Explanation

Use this activity to set up a priority rule for a specific shop order. The priorities are used when processing the reservation order during automatic order processing or when scheduling the shop orders using the Constraint Based Scheduler.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that priority rules per sites be defined in the Shop Order Basic Data/Shop Order Priority window. The shop order must have Planned status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system defines how it sets priorities for a specific shop order.

Procedure

  1. In the Order No list, select the shop order for which to specify the priority rule.
  2. Define the priority in the Priority Category field. Use the List of Values to select from available priorities.
  3. Click Save.
