Park Shop Order

Explanation

Use this activity to park a shop order, which blocks it from further processing.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the existence of a shop order having a status of either Released or Planned.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system deletes all material requirements and operation scheduling. The status of the shop order changes to Parked.

If a shop order is manually pegged against a customer order line, purchase order line or a shop order, the pegging has to be removed first.

Procedure

1. Select one or more shop orders that you want to park.
2. In the Shop Order window, select a single shop order from the Order No list.
3. In the Shop Orders window, select one or more shop orders in the table.
4. Right-click anywhere in the header and then click Park. A dialog box appears asking whether or not you want to park the shop order.
5. Select Yes. The system changes the status of the shop order to Parked.
