Print Shop Order Work Instruction with Barcode Number

Explanation

Use this activity to print a work instruction with barcode number for a shop order. You can preview your work instruction before printing it. Work instructions with barcode numbers are used to report operations based on the barcode number.

This activity requires that a shop order must be created.

Procedure

1. Select the shop order for which you want to print work instructions with barcode numbers.
2. Right-click, point to Reports and then click Work Instruction (Barcode Version).
3. If you want the system to print the work instruction (Barcode Version) directly, select Yes to the question "Print Work Instruction without Preview?". Select No if you want to preview the work instruction (Barcode Version) before printing it.
4. If you select No, the Report Print dialog box appears. You can choose the type of page layout or language in this dialog box.
5. After you make desired changes, click OK to print the report directly, Cancel to abort the printout, or Preview to preview the report.
6. If you select Preview, the report is presented for review. After reviewing it, click Print to print the report.
