Update ESD According to Material Availability

Explanation

This activity is used to update the earliest start date (ESD) according to the material availability.

Prerequisites

• The shop order (SO) should be in the Planned status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The earliest start date of the SO will be updated according to the material availability. The Earliest Start Date field in the Shop Order window will be updated with the date in the Earliest Plannable Date column in the Shop Order Availability window.
• If the SO is connected to a CBS site the earliest possible start time (EPST) in the CBS server will be updated accordingly.

Procedure

1. Open the Shop Order window.
2. Query for the required SO.
3. Right-click on the header area and then click Update ESD According to the Material Availability.
4. Save the changes.
