Update Routing Revision and/or Alternative

Explanation

Use this activity to select a different routing revision and alternative for the shop order. (The current operation list is automatically selected when the system registers the shop order.)

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the shop order is in state Planned or Released.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• The system changes the routing revision and/or alternative used for the selected shop order. The load is changed due to the new routing revision and/or alternative.
• If the manufactured part is a configured part, the Shop Order/Operation tab will be updated according to the latest revision.

Procedure

1. Right-click and then click Update Operations. The Update Operation and Alternative dialog box appears.
2. In Update Operation and Alternative dialog box, select the desired routing revision and alternative combination in the Revision field. Click List to select from available valid combinations.
3. To change only the alternative, select the specific alternative in the Alternative list.
4. Click OK.
