Enter Master Schedule Level 1

Explanation

Use this activity to enter forecasts for level 1 parts. 

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the part must have been registered as a level 1 part.

Procedure

1. From the Part No list box, select the part for which you want to register a forecast.
2. Open the Register Forecast tab.
3. Select New.
4. In the Master Schedule Set column, enter the master schedule set for which you want to enter forecasts. Use List of Values to select from available sets.
5. In the Forecast Date column, enter the date when the forecast will be valid. The system shows whether the date lies within or outside of the time limits.
6. Enter the forecast for the part in the Forecast 1 column. You also can change the value from the level 0 calculation.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 for every forecast you want to register.
8. Save. When you save the forecast, the period is displayed.
