Use this dialog box to add a new handling unit to the package structure. A package structure is built using handling units and package units. A handling unit is a device that can be handled physically, and can contain one or more packages. When adding a handling unit, you must always connect it to a pallet type. A pallet type may be for example a pallet, metal cylinder or wooden box, and must be defined in the Inventory Basic Data window. Note that if you automatically generate the package structure, the handling units will be added according to the settings in the Sales Part/Freight Information tab. The handling unit can also be the final wrapping and does not necessarily need to have package units placed in it.
