Enter Measurement
Explanation
Use this activity to enter the value that is obtained during the measurement
of the object. A measurement is carried out on a parameter that has previously
been entered for the object. You can also enter whether the measurement has been carried out
on a special test point defined for the object.
Prerequisites
Before the measurement is entered, the following must have been completed:
- A test point and a parameter must have been linked to the object in the
Serial Object or
Functional Object
window
in IFS/Equipment.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, an object parameter gets updated with
the last measured value. Furthermore, if the result of the measurement falls outside of the limits, it will also be displayed under the PM action that
the parameter is linked to.
