Use this window to register the organization units of the company. The organization unit is linked to a position ID and thereby also to the employee. The organization unit is used all over the human resources as a symbol for financial or other organizational groupings in the company, e.g. departments, work groups or categories. It works as the connection between human resources and the finance system (IFS/Accounting Rules). The organization code is is also used to group and/or select employees when working in the human resources product. It is also important when creating transactions in human resources e.g., registered time and costs, since the organization code is saved and, when applicable, also transferred to a payroll system together with the transaction. In practical use, it is often sufficient to consider the organization unit as a cost center.
