Define PMRP Message Configuration

Explanation

This activity is used to set PMRP message configurations. Each time a new configuration record is created, a value in the User ID field, in the PMRP Basic Data window, appears automatically. You need to specify the planner ID for which this configuration is created.  If the specified user ID and planner ID are registered as PMRP message controllers,  the check box indicating the message controller will be selected. The system also attaches all existing PMRP messages to this new record after it is saved. Users can see which message is available by looking at the Available column in each row of the PMRP message. If you are registered as an PMRP message controller, you can specify the messages that you want to make available for use by the other users. (Usually the users can only select from the available messages). Otherwise, users can only select from the available messages. 

You have to define at least one planner ID to view the messages in the PMRP Action Proposals  window.

Procedure

  1. Open the PMRP Basic Data window and click the PMRP Message Configuration tab
  2. Create a new record.
  3. Select the appropriate planner ID from the List of Values.
  4. Save the record.
  5. Select the Generate Flag check box on each message to make the related message appear in the PMRP Action Proposals  window.
  6. Save the changes.
