Usage

Use this tab to primarily create project budget/forecast lines complete with forecast amounts. Once these lines have been created you can then spread the costs, reset the costs or change the status of these lines using this tab.

You can also use this window to navigate to interrelated windows when you right click on this window and select the desired window name. The following activities are generally performed via the right mouse button options:

• Navigate to Connected Objects such as Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, Sub Contract, Voucher and GL Voucher if the forecast version has been connected to a project snapshot, using the Drill Down option.
• Navigate to details for each forecast line in Forecast Line Details window, which has all information connected to the line.
• Navigate to the Assign ETC dialog box where budget/forecast ETC values can be assigned to other parts of the WBS/CBS structure in a controlled manner.
• Spread forecasted amounts and view the spread.
• Set ETC based on previous ETC or EAC.    

In this window there is also possibilities for querying, filtering and displaying data in different ways:

• Select if amount columns should be shown for one (base) or more currencies (if multicurrency budgeting & forecasting is enabled).
• Use the Filter Currency list to filter for desired currency.
• Use Saved Queries functionality that will enable the same query repeated in any part of the WBS/CBS structure.
