Print Pick List

Explanation

Use this activity to print project item pick lists. You can preview before printing. The pick list is used as a basis for picking reserved material from inventory. The pick list does not imply a physical reservation of parts.

There are five ways to generate a project item pick list:

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the reserved quantity for the selected miscellaneous demand lines should be greater than zero.

Procedure

Using the Project Navigator/Demand/Misc Parts tab, Activity/Demand/Misc Parts tab, Project/Demand/Misc Parts tab or Overview-Project Misc. Procurement window (accessed through the Project Navigator/Connections tab.)

  1. Select the miscellaneous demand line(s) with material reservation.
  2. Right-click and click Project Item Pick List.
  3. The Print Report dialog box appears. You can choose the type of page layout or language in this dialog box.
  4. After you make desired changes, click OK to print the report directly, Cancel to abort the printout, or Preview to preview the report.
  5. If you select Preview, the report is presented for review. After reviewing it, click Print to print the report.

Using the Order Report window

  1. Select Pick List for Project Items in the Report area.
  2. In the Value field, select the Project Demand Type PRJ or PRD.

Note: If you select PRJ you need to give the miscellaneous demand sequence number (from the Misc. Parts tab) for the item you need the pick list printed for. If you select PRD you need to give the item number (from the Project Product/Items tab) for the item you need the pick list printed for.

  1.  Click OK.
  2. The Print Report dialog box appears. You can choose the type of page layout or language in this dialog box.
  3. After you make desired changes, click OK to print the report directly, Cancel to abort the printout, or Preview to preview the report.
  4. If you select Preview, the report is presented for review. After reviewing it, click Print to print the report.
