Connect Service to Service Quotation

Explanation

This activity is used to connect maintenance tasks and maintenance orders to an existing service quotation. Only maintenance orders which are in the Initial Scope Definition, Under Preparation, Released or Started statuses and not connected to any other quotation can be connected.

Prerequisites

To connect a service to a service quotation, the service quotation must be in the Under Preparation status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the service quotation is connected to maintenance orders/tasks.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for the service quotation.
2. Right-click and click Connect Service to Service Quotation.
3. If you want to connect an entire maintenance order, in the Maintenance Order tab, select the Connect Service? check box corresponding to the particular maintenance orders.
4. If you want to connect individual maintenance tasks, click the Maintenance Task tab and select the Connect Service? check box corresponding to the particular maintenance tasks.
5. Click OK.
