Modify View Of Structure
Explanation
This activity is used
to modify the view of the package
structure. You can either expand, collapse, set as root, and reset
as root on different levels in the structure. You can also make modifications to the automatically created package structure by adding,
deleting, or moving packages and handling units within the structure as desired.
You should note that whenever changes are made to the
structure, it is important to reprint shipment documents and labels. This will
therefore ensure, correct shipment documents and labels that include information
based on the changed structure.
Prerequisites
- A package structure must have been created.

Add Handling Units
Procedure
- Query for a specific shipment ID.
- Click the
Package Structure tab to view the package
structure details.
- Expand the shipment ID by selecting it.
Modify structure on handling unit level:
- To add a handling unit, right-click on the shipment
ID and then click Add Handling Unit(s).
- Click New, to activate a new row.
- Enter a pallet type or select a suitable value from the List of
Values. The name of the pallet type appears automatically.
- Enter the number of units for the pallet type.
- Click OK to save the row.
- To delete a handling unit, select the specific
handling unit you want to delete.
- Right-click on the handling unit and then click Delete
Handling Unit.
Modify structure on package unit level:
- Expand the handling unit to view all
package units added to the handling unit.
- To delete a package, right-click on the package unit
and then click Delete Package Unit.
- To move a package, drag the package unit to the preferred handling unit
folder.
Note: The following rules will apply when
moving package units within the package structure:
- Package units with different contents cannot be
placed on a homogeneous handling unit.
- One package unit cannot be placed on another package
unit.
