Report In Action

Explanation

Use this activity to report in actions that have been performed on a work order. There are several terms for classifying the fault and following up work, including class, type, performed action, cause, description of the work, start and completion dates, etc.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to report in actions using the Single Page Report in Work Order window:

  1. Open the Single Page Report in Work Order window.
  2. Query (F3) for the work order.
  3. Enter information in the Cause Details field.
  4. Enter a description of the work that was performed in the Work Done field.
  5. Enter a detailed description of the work that was performed in the Work Details field.
  6. Enter values in the Class, Type, Performed Action and Cause fields. Use the List of values to select suitable values.
  7. Fill in the Actual Start field with the date when the work started.
  8. Fill in the Actual Finish field with the date when the work was finished.
  9. Save the information.

Use the following procedure to report in actions using the Report in Work Order window:

  1. Open the Report in Work Order window.
  2. Query (F3) for the work order.
  3. Select the Report In tab. 
  4. Enter values in the Class, Type, Performed Action and Cause fields. Use the List of values to select suitable values.
  5. Enter information in the Cause Details field. You can activate a text editor by double-clicking the left mouse button in the field.
  6. Enter a description of the work that was performed in the Work Done field. In the lower field you can activate a text editor.
  7. Fill in the Actual Start field with the date when the work started.
  8. Fill in the Actual Finish field with the date when the work was finished.
  9. Save the information.
