Use this tab to view and manage information about the number of hours planned on the project items. Project Override Hours and Project Level Override Hours are the fields which can be modified in this tab. Values in the Project Override Hours field will override the calculation of cost on lower levels in the project product structure. Values in the Project Level Override Hours field will override the Standard Level Hours, but they will be ignored if the corresponding Project Override Hours field has a value. Values for Standard Level Hours and Standard Rollup Hours are retrieved according to the hierarchy described in the topic Project Item Cost and Hours.
The Hours calculation can be done by right-clicking on the Hours tab and selecting the Calculate Cost and Hours menu option.
