Open Shop Order

Explanation

This activity is used to open a closed shop order. This can be useful if you need to adjust materials or time on the shop order.

If the site is scheduled by the Constraint Based Scheduler (CBS), a prompt appears to specify whether the shop order should be re-created in the CBS server. Note: When the shop order requires scheduling after it has been opened and not re-created in the CBS server, it needs to be closed and re-opened in order to have CBS schedule it.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the shop order must have Closed status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system changes the shop order's status to Started.

Procedure

1. Right-click anywhere in the header and then click Open.
2. Click Yes when the dialog box appears asking if you want to open order(s).
3. When the site is scheduled by CBS, you will be asked if the shop order also should be re-created in CBS. Click Yes to have the shop order re-created in the CBS server.
