Study PMRP Part Information

Explanation

This activity is used to study information about the planned receipts/deliveries and the gross demand for parts. You can view information about:

• Expected receipts and deliveries of the part.
• Existing material/gross requirements.
• Planned and proposed receipts from project material requirements planning (PMRP). 
• Material transfer requisitions (MTR) created by multi-project requirements planning (MPMRP).
• Gross requirements for the part calculated by PMRP (the requirements for PMRP considers only receipts and deliveries, not the quantity on hand).
• The shop order that generated the demand; if the part is a component, the parent part is displayed.
• Material Transfer Requisitions (MTR) in the status Planned, Released or Partially Approved and which does not have a valid source to supply. The Exclude check box will be selected to indicate these records that were excluded from the PMRP calculation. This will be valid for MTR's with the supply type Inventory.

The result of the latest PMRP calculation will be displayed in the PMRP Part Information window. The calculation result will be presented per part, site, and project activity.  As a result of the part transfer by MTR, if a supply or demand exists, it will be shown on the Receipts and Deliveries tab. 

Prerequisites

• The material requirements calculation must have been performed for the part.

Procedure

1. Open the PMRP Part Information window and query for the part for which you want to study the specified information.

• Click the Details tab to view detailed information regarding the selected part.
• Click the Receipts and Deliveries tab to view expected receipts and deliveries.
• Click the Gross Requirements tab to view gross requirement for the part calculated by PMRP.
• Click the Gross Requirement By Template tab to view the gross requirement for the part as per the given template. 
  
  Note: To open the Multilevel Structures window, right-click in the header and then click Part Structure.
  To open the Inventory Part Availability Planning window which shows the availability of the selected part, right-click in the header and then click Inventory Part Availability Planning.
  To open the PMRP Material Plan window, right-click in the header and then click View Material Plan.
  Right-click in the header and then click Material Plan Grapg to open the PMRP Material Plan Graph window.
