Procedure

Follow this procedure to change the maintenance program and/or maintenance group for a serial structure by using the Change Maintenance Program On Serial assistant:

  1. Open any one of the following windows or tabs depending on your work flow:
  1. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the necessary serial structure.
  2. Right-click anywhere in the header and then click Change Maintenance Program. The Change Maintenance Program On Serial assistant opens.
  3. To change the maintenance program, click List in the New Maint. Prog field and select the new maintenance program revision.
  4. To change the maintenance group, click List in the New Maint Group field and select the new maintenance group.
  5. Select the Change maintenance program for all serials in structure check box if you want to update all serials in the structure with the new maintenance program.
  6. Select the Change maintenance group for all serials in the structure check box if you want to update all serials in the structure with the new maintenance group.
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Update values for interval maintenance on given serial assistant step you can enter or change the start values for the interval maintenance of a serial(s) in the structure. This is useful for instance when the intervals for the maintenance code on the old maintenance plan are different to the intervals on the new maintenance plan and it is necessary to adjust the interval maintenance values accordingly. The upper table displays the interval maintenance for the primary operational parameters while the lower table displays all secondary operational parameters corresponding to the primary operational parameters.
  9. In the Value at Maintenance field, enter or change the total operational value for the part and serial number for which you want to change interval maintenance values. Note: The following conditions apply:
  1. In the Value Total field, enter the total operational value of the serial at the date of maintenance.
  2. Click Save to save your changes.
  3. Click Finish to close the assistant.
